M Maverick said:I read that your new bass has a piezo pickup in the lower "horn". How does that work and affect the tone? It's a killer bass. Congratulations.
odominguez said:I saw some of the pictures of it in custom shop gallery, but this morning I saw an unfinished version something similar here at the Factory, I knew it was similar to your custom shop because it had the the cut for the extra piezo you added in the lower horn.
I was also glad to see your signature on the Guest Book of the Guest house last night when I got in. I hope yoou look for my name next time you visit here.

Aha... I'll bet you saw the prototype! Actually, ask if you can thump around on it if they haven't gutted the electronics already... it's hardly playable, but you can get the idea about how the sensor in the horn works.
You turn the tone knob all the way to the treble end... and then slap the bottom horn... use a bunch of angles... they all sound different. 8)
In the meantime... Ollie: I don't know how often you've eaten in Germany, but if you haven't already gone into town and tried what they call "Doner", I *highly* recommend it with all the extras.
