Matter of life. need help in deciding. (Bass content)
Ok I'm fine and healthy, nothing to worry about hehe. But really want your honest thoughts, you guys are helpfull!
The case is: I just sold my Thumb NT 6 1999 in a very good price I think: 2,600$..the reasons? I think I'm trying to evolve as in the search for another tone, and maybe i no longer found in this bass.. i still feel like a sadness i'm not a materialistic person, but hurts to let go an instrument that accompany you on your best musical life experiences! Ok so..
In one hand: My first thought was that this money would be used to purchase a new custom made bass, it has all the features I always wanted from a bass, The construction, comfort, quality, and sound are flawless, much like Fodera. In the other hand: the point is that for now i have that money, and in my country anybody can start a small business with it, rigth now I have a full time work, but I want stop being an employee, to start get something for my own, (I'm thinking about open a rehersal room, but need more money of course) and I think it has presented an opportunity with this sale.. So...:
-Get the bass, and keep working as a employee at least a little more time or
-Start my own business,keep my Streamer Jazzman and later I'll see if that dream bass come in some life time? The bass will look something like this with different woods combinations:
