Just saw Marcus Miller

Watching Marcus Miller was amazing. He played a tiny venue, but it was quite an experience. He had an some amazing musicians with him, and it was definitely one of the best shows i've ever been to. There isn't really a reason for this post, but i've never been so inspired to pick up my bass

i get that too, you go and see someone play , then you come home and feel really into it, and want to play all night. same thing happens when you get a new bass or amp, or strings even. :lol:

Marcus is one of those guys i really want to see, but haven't gotten the chance. Consider me jealous!!

Those guys are amazing at inspiring you to get better. I saw the Flecktones (Wooten) in 2004 in Florida and me and my buddy got to hang out with them before and after the show. They are amazing!!! It was a very small venue as well, maybe 400 people and we had front row seats. Victor came out after intermission and played a 20 minute solo with some loops and it was freaking awesome! The best part of that entire show was being able to see their "human" side and to get to know them a little better. Each one of them is one of the best at their respective instruments and are a very rare group.

Another nice thing about that show was that I got the bootleg of it from a friend of mine who new the guy next to me that was recording it. So, being there, meeting them, hearing them and then having the bootleg made it the best concert/show I have ever been to.

I saw him back in October or November in Denmark. He's my biggest inspiration. Best concert I've ever been to. Everyone should go see him if they get the chance. Best tone ever, and he certainly knows how to hold a groove.

I've never actually seen Wooten live, but I got a DVD of his and my playing and approach changed dramaticall from the day I got it.
