Just-a-Nut Purchase in the US

Hey guys. Only my second post. I just bought a 2003 Proline Vette 4 string off of eBay which was missing the nut. I subbed a standard GraphTech unit for now, but was trying to find a Just-a-Nut III for purchase. I have bid on the two units on eBay recently (and lost!), but can't seem to find anyone who sells these online within North America. I also tried the dealer from the Warwick website (twice) but they never return my calls.

Any ideas? If worse comes to worse, I'll stick with the GraphTech, as it sounds awesome. I just like the adjustability that I have with my 2006 Vette Std 5 string and want the same option on this other Vette, too.

Thanks, Shaft. I was also looking for one. I was thinking of upgrading my JANII to the 3, but its $42 in shipping costs from Thomann. Only one tab has completely broken off of my current, nut. I'm not sure if I see the value in changing it out, I'd probably be better off waiting to find a brass JAN3 here in the states.
 
Keep trying on the eBay one; got mine there. Seems they post them often.

I was thinking of taking a trip up there, but the thing is I just hate New York City. I think the Warwick Custom Shop would be the only thing to get me to go back there. Its too busy of a city for me. Tyler, from what I heard is a very patient and laid back man. That may be my only oasis in the big apple I really hate.
 
+1 on the Custom Shop. I ordered mine through bass central, who ended up going through the Custom Shop anyway.
 
Thanks to everyone for your help. Another one showed up on eBay, so I'll give it a chance first. If that doesn't work out, I'll be trying your suggestions.
 
Thank you very much! We somehow need to notify forumers from the US about this because nut replacement is a frequent occurence here.
 
I wish you guys had some black hardware laying around...I'm about to order my bridge & knobs soon.

They may. Email Dana and ask, as he found a bunch of hardware in the backroom. Maybe he has those parts as well :-)
 
Just emailed him, here's hoping. They're right up in Ventura, that's local relatively speaking, shipping would be cheap and fast. I'm only about 100 miles south...or so. lol

You mean, like telling them that Warwick has a showroom in NYC, where they hold and sell parts directly to customers? that'd be a good idea, but apparently noone bothers reading...
 
With all the respect to Dana B Goods, we do have a distributor now, who has all the parts on stock, and Warwick Custom Shop is selling everything online in US...

So I still don't understand why it is so cool that the former Distributor found some JAN 3 4 strings...

You should contact Warwick Custom Shop at any time :-)

Sorry I ruffled so many corporate feathers with this post. I saw your response on Saturday, the same day that I found the Just a Nut available from Dana on eBay. Without a USD pricelist from the Custom Shop to go by, the quoted price for the nut on eBay seemed like a no-brainer. I look forward to purchasing items from Tyler Krupsky at the Custom Shop in the future, as I plan on having a cache of Warwicks (three and counting!) for many years to come!!!
 
Knowing DBG is very local to me, means I get my stuff almost the next day. Free shipping, and they get the stuff out of their stockroom.
I was at a Guitar Center, San Berdo I think, they still think DBG is the distributor.

As for the NYC shop...ok they sell online, where's the catalog that has dollars and not euros? And free shipping? Having a catalog in dollars, free shipping really makes a difference.

Ditto that about a cache of Warwicks LOL...I just want 3 more then I'm satisfied. The 2010, the Vamp & Infinity.
