Anyone have suggestions on what string to use on a fretless Jack Bruce Thumb from 1990?

I put DR flats on my mahogany StingRay.

The Ray is a more 'senior' design than the
Jack Bruce, having roots in the '57 P-bass.
And the hog body adds sorta vintage tone
that back dates this waaay earlier than its
true age [DOB 2006].

Old design + Hog body + DR FW = Coolth.

The Bruce sprouted from old roots too, so
DR Flats should be 4 tickets to paradise.
