eww is right bro.We had a thread here dedicated to cheap n' nasty knock offs a few months back.Some say copying something is the ultimate form of flattery,somehow that is not the case with the sledgehammer. :shock:

The only acceptable Deans are the Euros made in the Czech Republic. I used to have one, but it's still not up to par with my Warwicks.
 
Strangely, if it didn't have that maple neck it wouldn't look too bad.................. :wink:
 
I was curious when I saw this and looked up the Dean website and saw a version of this in natural finish mahogany and it's not that bad!! A warwick it's not but still, not that bad...
 
It's strange how companies like Dean & Schecter, who back in the 1980's built some great instruments are only shadows of their former selves. Companies change hands and things happen. (Usually the new owners look for ways to make the product cheaper, and usually crummier.)
