Now, this is not bubinga pommele. Or then, mine is! The wood is identical. Stringy Ovangkol, dark.

This is not a 3 band EQ either. Unless I am missing something, and the BEC III (whatever that is) is actually a 2 band EQ.

thoughts, mr Specialist?

I've spotted that one too. I'm keeping a watch on it out of interest!

and many more... Buzzard for BIN £1200, Streamer Stage II for BIN £750, a Jazzman for £450 (ends 1 day), a Corvette $$ £450 (ends 5 hours), Fortress Masterman £285 (1 day)... Some nice deals recently.

and a fishy Streamer stage 1 (seems like it's listed twice).

I 'm really liking that fortress... May need a bit of work though. Looks a bit tired.

and another one... Christmas is coming!

this one is more like it!

...actually, that's the one I spotted. If I hadn't just bought a BO I'd be seriously tempted... it's not too far from where I live.

That Stage II looks like a bargain if it's in good condition.

It looks almost too good to be true. 90' SSII, bartolini, Custom inlays, looks in great condition, bit dirty above the pickups, ridiculous price. It doesn't have brass frets for some reason. He could sell it twice that price. Expensive postage. Not too savvy on Ebay scams, so I wonder...

I mean, that, or a Corvette $$? No competition, if it is genuine and electronics working. This is pretty much a dream Warwick.

I always used to say that I'd never spend more than I could afford to lose on ebay. However, since I spent this amount of cash of a Streamer Stage I in the states, I can't really say this any more.

All I can say is do as much research as you can. Read every bit of feedback, put his user name in Google and see if you can find anything bad about him.

The only thing that looks wrong to me is that the postage looks cheap.

One good thing is that now that Poland are in the EU you shouldn't be paying duty into the UK (if you are in the UK).

And finally make sure you pay through Paypal so we have some comeback (£500 I think) if the thing never turns up.

I was unbelivably lucky with mine, as it is like new, even though it's 6 years old

And another Thumb has just popped up, custom finish as well....

It says the bass is an '86, but considering it has the two piece bridge it is an '88 earliest right?

Nice looking bass whichever year...could do with alot more pictures though.

To be honest, I'm really concidering buying that Thumb NT 6 Fretless if noone outbids my highest bid. I recon not too many people are interested in a 6-string fretless bass right? I hope this guy ships to Germany.

that would be a steal :)

I don't see why he wouldn't sale to EU. It should be easy to strike a deal. He seems like a nice guy.

BTW, don't advertise your highest bid, especially on a Warwick Forum for such a nice instrument :D

I was just assuming that the interest for a fretless 6-string is kinda limited.

Oh I don't know... I'm kinda interested now...

Only kidding!

Man, I was worried :) 2 bids, in the last 10 secs. I thought you got beaten by a bot of some kind!

That is a steal :D a 1 year old thumb NT 6 for £1K. Congrats!

Hey Michael, congrats mate, you gotta nice bass there. The good thing with Thumbs is even your mistakes sound cool.
