g'day everybody,
I picked up one of the old German-made cabs, covered in blue/grey tolex with little W's all over it. The front grill has been sprayed black by the previous owner who didn't like the enormo-W (what can I say, he had a Stingray bass parked alongside). I can only assume the model is W116 as that's what has been pencilled (!) on the back. Apparently it's rated for 300 watts @ 4 ohms. I can't find any info on either the .com or .de sites.
It appears that the port tube is missing - all I have is a gaping hole in the middle of the four drivers. Must play merry hell with the cab's tuning!

I just grabbed my electric screwdriver and went exploring, it's loaded with Warwick-branded Eminence XWCP 99 000 / ME 10-75-8 drivers. That's great news for me, as that means the cab is actually 300 watts @ 8 ohms, a much more reasonable power handling (unless of course it's 2 or 16, highly unlikely!).
So, can anybody confirm the model number and power handling, and if it's missing a tuning port? If the latter turns out to be true, anybody know what length it should be? I've got WinISD, but it might just be easier straight from those in the know
