I just snagged this beauty off Reverb. For some reason, the seller is not shipping it until Sept. 13, so It is a few weeks out. I hope there are no issues, because I am thinking it is a good collectable Wick.

Apparently, in spite of the sellers stated shipping date, they shipped it the very next day and there were no importation problems it seems, because according to DHL tracking it is already in my city. The tracking info said delivery would be Thursday, but I would actually expect it tomorrow ......I hope. Also, I contacted the Mother Ship about how many were made and got this surprising response from Florence Wilfer:

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your mail.
We did produce around 3-4 pieces only .

Tested the pedal with my Mesa Prodigy and the Henry the 8x8 cab last night. While the dp pedal has a sound with huuge punch and impact, I find the midrange grind becomes ear fatiguing after a short while. It is nice to use for some but not all songs. I kinda still prefer the Darkglass alpha-omega as an ultimate means of bass overdrive.

Funny enough using the Tech21 pedal with my Tech21 amp yielded better results, reminding me to never judge a component of a rig by itself. The magic is in combinations of things.

I can recommend the Pyramid Black Tape Nylon, if you prefer coated. I have them on my upright bass.
