I've never seen anything like this. I bet it sounds pretty.

wowwww! looks like mocha! or ice cream with chocolate fudge. delicious. Want one 2. what wood is this?
 
It is a Corvette $$, with Zebrano body and matching headstock. Not expensive upgrades ;-)
 
wow. i think it's a bit on the ugly side. i don't like the wood grain on that body shape.

I'll have to agree with you. I think it would annoy me after a few years :)
 
It's cool cut! Have you noticed that the second image that displays headstock is not the picture of the bass displayed on the first image!!!

Yes, the wood is Zebrano. It is a Special Edition of the Corvette $$, limited to 30 pieces (16 pieces of 5-string basses)

Mine has also the smaller striped look, wich I preferred over the look of the bass postet here before (...and yes, the shop where I bought it had both, so I could really choose :-) )

I think the colour of that pic is off which is why it looks a bit gawdy. Having said that I love Zebrano - probably one of my most favourite woods.

The pic on the Warwick site is gorgeous - when I win the lottery I'm going to take a plane over to Germany and buy me a stack of Wicks :D

I'm with you both on that one!
 
I realise that it almost certainly will be Zebrano but it looks more like stained Swamp Ash to me which kind of defeats the object of using Zebrano, which looks better when it is tight grained (IMHO).
