I'm dying here... The bass finally got shipped today and is expected to be delivered tuesday. I can't wait to play it. The delay was first my fault ... I have a prepaid credit card I usually use for paying for stuff like this, but it didn't have enough money on it to pay the buy now price and I was worried I would miss out if I didn't act right away, so I did a direct payment from my savings account through paypal (echeck). Oh man, don't ever do this. It takes several business days for payment to clear this way. But it cleared a week ago... But, the seller had a surgery so there was a delay on his end actually shipping the bass. But I got the Notification of it being shipped and the tracking number today and the basws is set to be here tuesday .... man I can't friggin wait. Soon as it gets here ... well after a couple hour session playing it :) I will take a bunch of pictures to post and I am sure I will have a bunch of questions about exactly what did I get. Oh man I am so excited I could just ♣♣♣♣! hahahaha
 
I am so happy for you! The fretless opens a new dimension for any bass player, this baby will bring you some joy in your life :-)
 
Looks like you got yourself a bargain there Randy, well done man. Do you have clearance to get it in the house or are you gonna have to sneak it in? ;)
 
Hmmm...I reakon Randy will get his bass tomorrow....so I suppose we will not hear from him for a week or so now :P

Tomorrow ... I wish it was tomorrow .. Maybe UPS will go by your calendar so I can get it a day earlier .. hahaha
 
Have you played fretless before, Randy? I`m thinking of getting a cheap 280$ Rockbass Stream Fretless to start with, in case I suck. ;)
 
I have played a couple fretless basses before, but not really with the mindset of a fretless player if that makes any sense. I basically played them like I would a normal fretted bass. I almost bought a fretless Spector back in the mid 80s (wish I had) but chickened out at the last minute. About a month ago I played this guys Fretless Fender Jazz and it really brought back that gas for a fretless. Not sure if I will be able to do the bass justice or not, but I will give it a shot. I actually started playing on an upright bass, so I am hopeful I will really like this bass alot. Besides, its a real wick, so Im sure I will love it.

I just checked the tracking and it has arrived in Little Rock, so it's about an hour away, and it should be in my lot little hands by end of day tomorrow..... It will be just like christmas, only in August.
