The thumb 5er just came to the house.

The body is in great shape for a 99. You can tell that the MEC emblems are still on the pickups and was definitely babied. I will give her a little wax this weekend and dial her in on the Markbass setup I have. I think it is safe to say that the corvette is in for backup duty or possibly for sale.

I requested that they put on the high beams and set it up but it appears that did not happen. They did include the strings in the shipment so it will give me an opportunity to clean her up and put new strings on. It does have the JANII on it which I know I will have to replace down the road knowing its history.

As long as they didn't charge you for the setup, I guess it's all good.
Oh the JAN II. I've read so many things about it. My Streamer has the JAN I. I'm tempted to replace it with the Brass JAN III...

I would take the JANI or III as I actually like the classic look of the I. I had a JANII on my corvette and the sides snapped which tends to be the case with the design. I then upgraded to the plastic version of the JANIII and worked out great on the vette. If you decide to get rid of the JANI let me know.
