oh yes!
it´s the warwick corvette taranis and it´s my new toy!
the deal was to good not to make!
but I always thought the corvett was a goffy and ugly!
But not anymore!
I´m so happy it turned out so good!
Now the bass has the touch of grove and classic style i love! :lol:

And as always the warwick necks are the best in the world!

it´s tune from the low up! F, A#, D#, G# :eek:
now its a killer and perfect fit to my 8 string guitars! :lol:

I don't know if I'm in love with that pick guard, but I will admit, satin red and tort is a wild colour combo.
 
I don't like it. But it looks very nicely done, and if you like it, that's what counts. But then, I don't think the Corvette looks "goffy and ugly." To be fair, I agree that some basses (such as Fenders) look better with a pickguard, but I like the Corvette as is.

Oh, and sound clips would be cool!

Photoshop request: More models with similar pickguards, just for fun!

Edit: Thought more about this pickguard of yours; The beauty of it is that you've managed to take the CV Streamer type pickguard and fixed it, so that it doesn't look like a splash of paint or something. It looks like a well thought out pickguard and you totally fixed the lower horn part of it, where the Streamer CV fails. Congrats on that!

All IMO, of course :)

interesting but not my taste ;p i use a taranis 5er and i leave it as it ;p
