having recently aquired my FNA jazzman corvette,
i have now found a 1988 streamer in a store in london.
as i am a lefty player, its calling my name,
she's neck thru, bubinga. and looks great, is there anything i should be asking about?

the 1988 is what flicks my switch tbh. thats the era that i started to love warwicks.
the history thread shows them being afzelia i think.
i may have a conversation.
and yes the 6 string would be a beast, way outside of my ability...
the wife also would have a fit if i got another bass, but i would happily sell the rockbass (with EMGs) to help fund this .
 
Get the Streamer, should be awesome.
If they had a right handed one I would be visiting that shop myself..

Then go get the thumb for Christmas and pack it along with a Gucci bag, say the bass came free with the bag :)

I'll be in the UK next week, any other shops with gems like these?

hi, no not yet, im still toying with the idea.
apparently its a commision sale so they wont do a px (against the rockbass), so that would be an ebay deal......
if, if i decide to have a go.
any major things to look out for?
 
well some time ago (late eighties) i picked up some advert pamphlets from warwick as a guitar show. having just had a look, i have the streamer stage 2 nt brochure. talk about kizmut......
how do i attach a pdf??
 
ha, not yet, they are shut now, and not able to do online purchase.

dude, just ask if the neck is not twisted or cracked. Anything else is easily fixable with a string and ductape.
 
the serial no is K28888, but wont show on the warwick website, and as i dont have the required pictures i cant email warwick direct.
hmmmm, she looks so sweet, the shop opens at 10:30, so only a little longer to wait.
 
I've only gone an done it. the shop would accept a return if i am not happy, and will provide a 3 month warranty.
she is being Shipped via UPS so, assuming they get her packed up today i might have it tomorrow.
the Shipping is insured and i couldnt have got the train or driven to the sotre and back for the cost to ship, so.......
i just joined the streamer club, as well as the corvette club.
 
result, i just got an email. she got shipped today. should be HNBD tomorrow.
