That's a hard decision, but chosing for your family is always the best I think. And there are always great bands in need of even better players, so you'll be in bands again soon!!

Good luck with everything mon ami :) . All the best, I'm sure you'll never regret this decision, when you look at your son in 10 years, thinking "I've been able to see him grow up". It's never easy to leave a band, but I guess you had to do so...
 
choosing between band and family/loved ones is never a easy choice...but in the end all that is left is the friendship... i hope you never lose that!

It was actually very easy, I love my family...
and I will never quit music.
To be honest I like smaller audiences anyway...
Perhaps I will start doing music like 10 years ago:

Florin, even if I already had reactions regarding this subject, I would like to add one more thought.
Basically, if you would had stay with Proconsul that would had been a decision, too. Of course, a less radical one.

My point is that our lives are long series of decisions. So, taking a decision is one of the most natural things to do
and... YOU DID IT! :)
 
Sorry to hear the news man, you guys are big out there right? Ahh well, you'll be fine because you are a real musician and a funky bass player! Already want to hear the new stuff!

guess it's healthy to reinvent yourself every now and then. going on autopilot for too long makes you weak and lose perspective on what's important and what's not.
