Hi all,

I'm looking to sell a Warwick Thumb I've owned for a few years now, but looking for some guidance on how I should price it... It's a LTD edition 2003 Bleached Blonde bolt-on, made in Germany.

The issue I have with pricing it, is that the previous owner replaced the neck with one from a Warwick Corvette Standard (I was told this was because the original Thumb neck warped). The serial number on the back of the head, denotes this as an ovangkol neck, also made in Germany, and from 2005.

I actually prefer how it looks with the contrast wood on the neck, but it's not original and appreciate it can't be priced the same as other Bleached Blondes for this reason. The previous owner also replaced the original MEC pickups with Bartolini's.

I'm based in the UK. Bass plays great but does have some little marks and has been with gigged with.

Any advice on how I should price this? Cheers

It is still very cool looking. As for price, that just so subjective. Not "really" a '03 LTD anymore. I mean, little wolf howling at the moon is gone. Gone 😐

I've got one of these, n°122.
It's the first thing I looked for when I bought it. Around the 2002/2003 years on onwards there was a trend of twisting arms...
My 2003 corvette has this also but the blonde doesn't!!
I have a 2002 streamer lx5 which hasn't twisted and a 1995 fortress masterman which is perfect.
All german made, maybe there was a procces change in the arm building.
It's a shame the previous owner of yours had to change the arm and didn't keep the old one😩
