I've been lurking around for the last few months since i bought my 02 Thumb 5. Thanks to you all for great advice and information. I've also been really happy to listen to a lot of your music. Lots of diverse styles, all Warwick. Reinforces what a good decision it was to buy it. It sure wasn't a cheap decision. 
So here's my question: i decided to replace my JAN II with a JAN III. followed the excellent tutorial posted by scubadiver and the link to the official Warwick guide posted by ThirdthumB. When I pried the old nut off the headstock, some laminate (or wood) came with it, resulting in the new nut not sitting in full contact with the headstock. I honestly can't tell if there's resulting sound loss, now that i put the new nut on (pic below). But can someone maybe ease my mind? Also, the pic below makes it look like the nut is set way far from the fingerboard but its just the camera angle.
I've been considering filling the void with superglue or something, is that wise?
