I have just put in a Custom order for a Streamer Stage I in Buck Eye Burl.

Has anyone on got a bass made of this or tried one with this wood?

I know it's going to sound sad, but I order that as it look amazing!! Just how must does it change the sound??

All the best

i think there was one on the for sale section. let me see if I find it. if so I will post a link.

it is also a CS SSI like yours in 5 string version and matched headstock. looks good. this might be cheaper than the new order from scratch check it out!

That's a great help. I have just emailed the Guy.

My order is already in, so it's being made as we speak, but thanks for finding that one.

All the best

I'm lucky enough to be an artist. (blush), so this one is part of my deal.

I'm moving to Chicago this Saturday from England.

Yeah I will man. I Love New York. Great Place. Same here if your ever in Chicago.

I think Kho also has one, but then again he hasnt been around for awhile.

It's just that I had a chat with Norbert at Warwick and he said that you can lose a bit of the sound of the bass with the Buck Eye Burl?

It is a risk I'm willing to take though. That wood looks Amazing!!!
