Hardshell Case Recomendations

Hey guys, long time no post. I have been loving my vette, and am gigging with it more and more. Now that I'm driving to more gigs I was wondering what is a good hardcase for the vette. Any good or bad experiences with different brands? Anyone own a case that is a really good fit for a std vette?

Even though I would like to get one from Dana B Goods, I'm gonna be traveling very soon. So I need a case asap. I tried some of my other cases (for fenders) and the bass rattles around alot. I was wondering if anyone had good results from a SKB case or anything like that.

I've used an SKB case for my Thumb & it fit fine.I cant say you'll have the same experience coz my SKB case might be different from yours.Price wise I found the Rockcase much better value & better built than the SKB & Gator cases I've used in the past.

Uhh,

can't you just stuff the case with some towels ?? You already have a case so...........even if it's just temporarily, until you get a Rockcass.

yeah, I'm just gonna use towels. I walked down w/ my bass to music store today and tried a few and they didn't fit as well as I wanted. BTW thumperton are you talking about the flight case or the std hardshell?

i've got a contoured SKB hardshell case (cant remember the model) and my 5 string vette fits fine in it. it's actually meant to fit a P or J bass but it's perfect for me.
