hi i waas wndering if anyone know what the colour looks like on ash. I want a deep purple, but french violet looks almost like a magenta. However in the catalog on the page of customs there is a an ash bodied thumb bass. For some reason its really dark purple. WHich is exaclty what i was looking for...is this what a normal finsih would look like? or is this actualyl a darker coloured french violet?

I think the best way to approach this is to contact the Custom Shop directly and let them know what you're looking for and they will work with you on ways to approach the finish you are looking for.

ive done that several times, when i asked them if i could get a the deep purple and several other inquiries, all they do is tell me this is our colour chart. Choose one of those, i was hoping someone would know first hand

Hey Tremor,colour is a tricky thing,I've seen the same colour look alot different in the flesh compared to it's photo.Then your computers screen resolution comes into play.I'm saying this to hopefully save you the hassle I had.
