Just a little demographics research here (and general interest, so we have a better view of who is who....)

How old are you, how long have you been playing bass, and what do you do in "real life"?

Personally, I just turned 30, and I've been playing bass for a year and a half, roughly, and I'm a biologist, believe it of not...

I studied piano as a child, but changed my mind on instruments when I heard Iron Maiden for the first time  I'm currently taking a gap year from university where I completed a Batchelor's degree in Music, before I go to do my Master's degree in Music Therapy. I also play double bass in the orchestra.

That just made my day for some weird reason... I've always been kinda upset I didn't start playing music when I was younger (yes I know 21 isn't old, but still) :D Oh and sorry if I offended you Lex, it's meant as a compliment :)
