+1, im sick to death of going to get some tabs off the internet and their block for copyright reasons!!!!!!!!!!

i know what you mean. but i think smuggling them in from other countries is probably just as illegal, lol.

but if i have you send it through a instant message, they won't know! :D

Torrents and music downloads are illegal everywhere... In the US that fact is more strongly enforced by the RIAA police, but laws and regulations are being put together for instance here in europe that would make the Internet Service Providers responsible for the downloads by their users.... Result: ISP are blocking Torrent Transfers for example...

It`ll probably become like it is with cd`s and movies:

"You are permitted to tab one copy of your own song"
"Can I share it with my band?"
"Sorry, no. Personal use only"

I understand the whole issue with stealing music online, but I have actually found music thru "illegal" means that I wouldn't have otherwise known of, and then bought the album.

I don't see the problem with sharing live concert torrents and/or albums that are out of print. how else could we get ahold of those?

True, and for me, I love CD's. I usually download a CD illegaly, and if I like it, I buy it. It's not real before you can hold it in your hands, guys ;)

As for tabs, I think that it's ridiculous to illegalize them. Sites like ultimate guitar hosts tabs people write of what they think it is. And I like it. Being able to search for a song and find it.

I sympathise with both sides here, but the bottom line is,if you didnt buy it?Ya stole it.Musically speaking.
