First warwick

After playing Fenders for the last 10 years I wanted a different sound. I tryed every bass that I could get my hands on. The only basses that jumped out at me were Warwicks. I found a corvette std. with active electronics. What a great sound and feel this bass has. My p-bass is still #1 but when I need a more modern sound the Warwick gets the nod.

I too have just bought my first Warwick, A Streamer Jazzman, after thinking my Fender Jazz could never be bettered. :twisted:

i purchased a 5 string fretless corvette classic rock bass as my first warwick....turned out i had too much bass for my amps and a long story short, ended up getting a glockenklang heart rock head (750 watts @ 4 ohms)with two usa quattros (4-10's plus a horn)...the quality on that bass is incredible even though it's a cheaper version in price only as far as i'm concerned....here's why....wanted to add a fretted bass to go with the fretless, and picked up a spector rebop 5 for a very good price....but it has a buzz in it that i can't seem to isolate...very frustrating especially when recording...plug in the warwick fretless rock bass behind it and it's dead quiet...only treble hiss when cranked on the preamp...

so, bit the bullet and bought a dirty blonde for the fretted bass....what a wonderful bass both in workmanship and sound....that bass sings through the glock amp....i am very pleased with it....think i'll just stick with warwick from now on....thanks guys for making such quality instruments!!
