Favorite LTD

I have to vote Vampyre. That dragon tattoo in the body really stokes my fire.
 
I luvs my Dirty Blonde! It has incredible looks with the birdseye poplar top and the bird inlays, and I love the different, more traditional tone of the maple neck and P neck pickup, or kick in the T/J pup for more versatile tones! :D

The Dirty Blonde does not give you the famous Warwick growl, but it makes a nice compliment to my Thumb NT. My DB was de-fretted before I bought it, so I get a very sweet fretless tone using the T/J, or I can get a very killer P-bass old school funk sound out of the neck P for a little "slap 'n slide"! 8)
 
I have a GC 2001 LTD which has the same specs as the Warwick 2001 LTD so the sound and woods are the same as well as the configuration it is a Thumb 2001 BO with body sandwicj of (front to back) swirl bubinga, maple (in sandwich) and the back is ovangkol.

ths sound is better than my Thumb 5 BO and has more sustain. I still have not gotten my Thumb NT to compare it to it but I like its punch, string spacinfg and looks. to me this is my favorite bass so i would vote for the 2001 LTD since this was one of the pioneers in LTDs and also because it is a Thumb.

the dirty thumb ltd is just pure greatness. It has such tremendous low end and a very different sound than other models.

I do not know who else has one here in the forum. I read somebody else had one once but sold it but i do not know who presently might have one right now. i love it and it is my favorite Thumb. I can't wait to try that new NT I bought (but have not picked it up due to 6 hours away by car driving distance) but I think this might sound like it but still different due to the wood combination.

Once I called it 2001 LTD and forumers jumped all over me for daring to say that then somebody else pointed out it was a Guitar Center 2001 LTD and has the same woods and config as the 2001 LTD but is is missing the sreial lnumber plaque that's all. but it was also a series of 75 total so I feel pretty lucky because i do not see these on ebay or anywhere else as often as the other LTDs so this makes it even more rare to find.
 
I think the 2002 LTD is the greatest, for obvious reasons. I've tried the Dirty Blonde, but that had too much treble for my taste. The 2007 Flaming Blonde was really nice though.
 
I can only judge from looks. I guess I have to go with the Hot Rod. The all blonde woods give the bass a totally different look compared to standard Warwicks. What I find amazing about this bass is the extensive use of Ekanga. The body halfs are seperated by three (!) pieces of Ekanga with Maple in between. Stunning.
 
That and planet inlays. Just a cool ass bass...
 
I like the 2000 Infinity LTD.One of the unofficial ltd's.
 
Slightly biased here but 2007 Flamin Blonde for me - just had everything that I wanted in a bass...great looks, interesting inlays and MM pickup.
 
I wonder where the 2008 will end up once they get into wider circulation? I've played a 2005, 2006, and 2008. I've enjoyed them all, but if I had to choose:
1) 2008
2) 2006
3) 2005
