Or actually I'm not sure :D Saw this map of USA and thought maybe Europe deserves a similar one. So I used Google Search's auto-complete with "[country] wants". Note that some countries didn't actually want anything. True story.

Here we go:

Being Scottish I am trying to decide whether to read anything into the fact that "to leave EU" resides over the South East of England on the map :D

Yeah England and UK want to leave EU and Scotland wants independence. Should've split the kingdom :P

Hmmm, not so sure. Like this quote in Scottish independence from the New York Times:

"Make no mistake, the only clear side of this debate is that intelligent public discourse matters, and that we’re not getting any of it.

At an event on cultural identity at the Edinburgh College of Art, I recently witnessed a room of art-hipsters cower as an elderly man in a kilt walked in. Everyone mistakenly thought he was an angry nationalist who had come to disrupt the event. Actually, he was an eccentric Englishman. He made a great contribution by talking us through his outfit and sitting with his legs open.

That’s more than you can say for most of our elected officials and cultural commentators."

:D and non-partisan...

Hehe. Well it's Google's opinion so you can try to fight it :D

Sorry if this angers you but I made the map just for fun. I didn't think that far. Thanks for the history facts, I have already made my opinion on the issue and I intend to keep it to myself. I have a notorious reputation on taking stuff too politically here so maybe we can keep that stuff out of this thread, ok?

Goran, I understand your point, but don´t get mad at Olli, he did that just for fun, he wasn´t trying to be historically or politicaly accurate, nor trying to offend anyone here.

A little sense of humour, please, real life is already too ♣♣♣♣ed up.

Peace.8:

Goran, I understand we can only imagine what your people, and all the other people involved, suffered. I think it is normal to react that way. But I have learn (after a handfull of episodes of overreactions from me) to keep this forum as our little "good vibe zone". ;)

ha ha says the man that got fully upset about a joke about his name a while ago.

Another ad hominem post. Huzzah! Your point?

Nacho is one of the lads that brings enthousiasm and fun to this forum while all I've seen you do is vent your negativity on here.
I know I am not exactly a saint myself and can be a whiney bitch at times but not 24/7.
Really you are not the man to critize anyone on here without at least taking a good look at yourself first.

ha ha says the man that got fully upset about a joke about his name a while ago.

He just admitted he overreacted a few times in the following post, we all did :-)
And I see his message more like to point that he understands his pain. I wanted to post a message like that too, see, I am from Timisoara, close to the border, I use to hear the bombs back then. Serbians are our brothers... To be honest all former Jugoslavians were. I grew up with Bijelo Dugme's music.
Anyway, this kind of reaction is a sign that we are still alive here, haha! Now please, just laugh at Olli's joke...
Romania wants Moldova - I am not sure about that... I think we would really want more summer months, at least I do. We have all other characteristics of a tropical country - kinda lazy, and sing and dance a lot. It's just too cold most of the time...
