Would it be possible to briefly describe your recording set-up or equipment/gear on "Come Death?" I believe your sound there is easily one of, or perhaps THE best bass sound I've ever heard on a death-metal album! Monstrously heavy...yet perfectly balanced in the mix.

Well, it`s the setup I use with my home computer and been using on all my recordings lately . BRT , Emeth , Incinerate (out september) and the new deeds of flesh which I`m tracking now. It`s just a sansamp DI box, using a paralell signal, one clean and one through the sansamp EQ, connected to my m-audio audiophile 192 sound card. I don`t use any plugins of any kind when I record, that`s up to the sound engineer, point being, the cleaner better signal he gets , the more he can do with it to make it stick out in the mix. I also (usually) don`t record with any bass monitor, forcing myself to play as hard as I can to get the attack I want on the album.
