EMP's made in the USA?

I notice that Warwick's strings are made in the USA -- who makes them? Why not in Germany, the home of so many well-engineered things?

Red Labels are alot like Bass Boomers.That's why I feel that way.
Before this,I thought that maybe DR made them.
Maybe it's better that we dont know.To keep the enigmatic flavour goin.;)

Even more-so, if we knew, would we think
that the mother company's strings sound
similar or not?

As a long time GHS user, I tell you EMP's and BL are very different. And much better quality IMHO
