I can't believe that with 4 hours left this bass hasn't hit $800 yet!

No...it's not mine. Just amazed that it is going to sell that low!

A couple weeks ago there was a brand new Corvette $$ NT bubinga with a starting bid of $1500 that didn't sell either. I was shocked. I guess everyone who wants a $$ already bought one!

Yep...this one is one month old. How does one spend over 2 grand and settle for $800 a month later?? I was thrilled to buy my FNA Jazz 5 with a 32" neck for $961! Thrilled!!!

I've never spent $2k on a bass (although I've got close), but if I did I can't imagine wanting to sell it, period! But I've seen a lot of Thumbs, Streamers, etc. go for less than half price as well...

Good! lol... I rather see someone who will appreciate it win it then some guy who was originally looking for an Epiphone and stumbled across it.

Sold for only $840...

An absolute steal!

I had to fight myself to keep from bidding. Ultimately having a 3rd $$ seemed silly. And while I could personally care less about having a contoured body, the Streamer $$ is a great bass. Especially at that price.

Must be a bummer for the seller. I wouldn't be surprised if he was in desperate need of cash. :?

I sent you a PM when the $1500 one was up - it didn't go through I take it? It was sweet - it had bubinga pommele for the wings...

My bad, it wasn't the "pommele-looking" one. But this is the bass (below). You could make an offer of $1500, and I bet they'd go for it...

What happened to your other one Newguy?

Had it for 3 wks but had to return it. Job situation wasn't what I thought it was gonna be and couldn't afford to keep it. I ended up getting a Schecter & put a Bart preamp in it. Hopefully I can get another $$ within the next month. This time I may have to get the BO to save money.

That bass is missing something.... the B string! Am I the only guy who actually learned (& still learning) on a 5 string?? I absolutely get confused with 4 strings!

I forgot you were a 5-string guy. You're certainly not alone, but I can't imagine how a 4-string is more confusing!

I started out playing 4, then switched to 5, but switched back to 4. I have big hands, but greatly prefer the thinner neck yet wider string spacing. Since you can just drop tune a 4, it's not like your losing any "notes". If I ever decide to go up in strings, I'd skip over the 5 and get a 6-string...

Sorry for the rant... :D
