Does Hans Peter play bass?

Just curious if anyone knows if and how much Hans Peter actually plays bass?? Is he good? Does he play at all?

I also wonder how big his personal collection is? It would be cool to see what gems he picks out of the bunch and says...."I'll take that one"!!

Actually he doesn't play, he's just good at making them...

As for his personal collection, legend has it that the only bass he has at home is a Nobby, the first bass produced by Warwick.

These six doods built my fave basses.
From the whole bunch, I am looking at
a coupla dozen basses +/- .

Of the builders who do play, I couldn't
care less that they are not world class
players but just better hacks than me.
They know that viscerial high of being
an Electric Thudwacker. They GET it !

Ak-tchew-ah-lee, every one of the six
is hooked together in one of two tribes.
Sterling worked for George & Leo. Ned
and Stuart worked for 'each other' and,
well, we know there's a connection twix
HP and Stuart but we don't wanna light
no napalm here.

You might notice however, that the two
tribes are, in USA lingo, Left Coast and
Right Coast types. That makes HPW an
Honorary Hudson Valley Luthier, in the
good company of Spector, Steinberger,
Sadowski, Tobias, etc etc.
