Do I need a truss rod adjustment?

Well, I usually take off all my strings and clean the fretboard and neck with lemon oil, and I wax the body. I wipe down with a cloth the dust around the pickups and such(I hate dust),

Anyway, I have some buzzing on the upper frets on the lower strings.

And if I digg in really hard there's some buzzing?

Is this ok?

I have my basses set up so there's a little buzz - I play live mostly so it doesn't get noticed live amongst the noise of drums, guitars etc.

If I'm recording I'll jack the action up a bit to make sure it's nice and clean.

So yes, it's ok to have buzz.

If you get buzz between fret 1 & 12,adjust the truss rod.
if you get buxx between frets 12 & 24,adjust the bridge.
**Fret 1 is next to the nut.
