yes, but you might need a new nut (but I think it's not necessary) and a new set of strings (to not apply to much tension on the neck)

yes, new nut, new bridge or maybe using a file toi accomodate the bigger strings to the bridge and of course new set up of the bass due to different gauges and different tension to the truss rod and new strings which is a no brainer.

tbh i can't see why not, as its not a huge issue. But best wait for an official response i guess.

i tune my Darklord E A D G ... no mods required!

and since the darklord is a lot more different than a taranis, i guess it also goes that there will be no modding required for the taranis too.
