I am in the United States Navy and I am currently stationed in Japan, just over a year ago I bout a Streamer LX 5, I love the bass, but during our last deployment I left my bass in my closet, when we came home it was terribly cold, I noticed a slight warp in the neck. I took it to the guitar shop where I bought the thing, they tried to fix it but they couldn't do anything about it. It was such a minor bend that it did not affect the playability but I thought I'll be damned if I paid a hefty price for a bass guitar and let it have a warped neck. So I had the guitar shop send the bass back to warwick, and they got right on it, they replaced my neck (normally a $700 job) free of charge even though my warranty was expired by 1 month. I was very impressed with their level of customer satisfaction.

Any suggestions of how I can prevent this problem in the future???

Rob Busch at Warwick's US ditributer, Dana B. Goods, should be able to help you with your question. He's a great source of information for keeping your pride & joy healthy.

You can find him at [email protected]

Yes, Warwick probably has the best customer service in the industry. I've never had a problem with mine, but I've heard a couple of great stories from my dealer about how well they take care of their family.

I also cannot say enough good about Dana B Goods. Rob is amazing. I've never had to deal with him for anything major, but several times I've bought Warwicks used that didn't have trussrod covers, or needed the input jacks replaced. I also bought a neck that had no screws on the brass nut. All of these things I was sent free of charge from Rob. He's also helped me out numerous times when I've had questions about what kind of wood was on a certain bass or whatnot.

Yes, I think Rob Busch is really an amazing guy, great knowledge and great personality. But also the people at [email protected] are very open, friendly and full of knowledge. So when you need tech support get in contact with them, or Rob and you won't be disappointed.

Norm,Sydney also suffers under bad humidity in summer, what i suggest is buy some of those dessicant bags that absorb moisture, throw a couple in your case & bob's your uncle,(aussie slang for it'll be ok) The expensive solution is to buy a dehumidifier or leave the air conditioner running 24/7.cheers bro.
