CS basses come with hard case?

Is a hard case included or is that extra? Does it come with gig bag also, or just one or the other? ~M~
 
As far as I know all CS, Ltd. and NT basses come with a case. I'm not exactly sure how custom the bass has to be though - for example if you just get it fretless with a matching headtsock I'm not sure if they'll send it with a case. It only comes with either a case or gigbag.
 
One of the pickups, the fretwire, and the general body shape will be the same. Everything else will be different so I guess it'll count as a custom. I'm hoping that it comes with a hardcase - they should for the $$$ involved... Thanx ~M~
 
So far:
Infinity SN5 - Bubinga Pommele body with Macassar top
Wenge neck with Macassar fretboard and headstock overlay
Dual twin-J MEC's (similar to Seth's Vampyre) 3 band preamp
Gold hardware and bass clef inlays.
DBG is getting the quote this week and hopefully it'll be officially ordered by the end of the month. What do you think? ~M~
 
Whether or not a CS bass comes with the flight case is largely up to the distributor and the retailer. In the US, I don't think any Warwick bass comes with the flight case (with some exceptions, like the Jack Bruce LTD edition), but they all come with the gig bag. The retailer might decide throw a flight case into the deal as well, but it's not the standard here.

If you order the flight case (which I recommend), you'll probably get both the flight case and the gig bag. For both my CS's, they still threw in the gig back along with the hardshell case, which was cool.
 
as far as italy is concerned, the warwick hardcase is provided by the italian distributor with every custom order :wink:

..can't wait to see your infinity man :D

It's taken some wrangling of the checkbook, some saving, and some selling of other gear but I think I got it covered! ~M~

Did you by chance ask them if they'll make it for you without tthe TCS ( Tone Chamber System )?
I've played the Infinity SN, and I loved it, but it was missing something ( to me) My ears were telling me that it'd sound better as a solid two piece body, and would feel more substaintial to my hands without the holllow TCS.

I'd love to see a Solidbody NT Infinity!!!
Wonder if they'd make it???

I heard fom some people that when they ordered fom Warwick for their bass to come with a case, they didn't get the gig bag. Thus not recieveing the wax, thrussrod tool and everything that comes in the gig bag.

Whether you get a hard case or not depends on the country you live in. Most countries get the hard case.

You should also get the full user kit. If you don't, have strong words with your dealer.

That's what happened to me.My Thumb came with a Corvette's warranty card,a truss rod tool & that's it.I got the Rockcase free & $1200 off the bass so it's no biggie.The Aussie Warwick distributor sent me wax & a free set of EMP's to make up for it.Thanks to Mr.Zacharia. :wink:

I would think they'd make a solid body. It'd be less work to carve and finish it so maybe???? As for not getting the TCS, I hadn't thought of that -I agree it would be interesting to try but this bass will be plenty heavy enough as is with an ebony top, and I haven't found anything I'd personally consider 'missing' in the sound of the stock SN5. I have found that I can get some good percussive sounds with tapping it in the right spots that I don't get with a solid body so the TCS stays on this one. The overall goal is to blend the classic NT Thumb sound (bubinga and wenge) with the Infinity SN sound (TCS and twin-J's) and then add a little somethin' extra with the top wood, inlays, and hardware colours. ~M~

Cool, I hadn't considered percussive factors in with the TCS.
Now I not only need to see it, I need to hear some sound clips when you get broken in OK??? :!:
