Bass Central offers new Vett Prolines, and indicates that
they are only by "special order", which would indicate
that they are not offering NOS. Maybe it's thru the CS ?

Solid maple doesn't seem as common as it once was.
I've got some older basses that are solid maple but it's
less commonly offered now. Maybe it got expensive.
It's a really brite toned wood, and with all the demand
lately for hot tone, it seems that it should be getting
more common, not less, unless it just costs too much.

I have a Proline 6 and it is a great bass. I highly recommend them, if you can find one!

I see a lot of prolines for sale in the ocean blue color,I don't like gold hdw to much but on the blue it looks good.They might have stopped making it because the body is contured slightly different :?:

maybe because they almost the same like streamer lx (especially bodywood)....
