Corvette $$ price

Hi everybody!

I'm new here and glad to see a lot warwick fans around! I from Ukraine and going to buy Corvette $$ 5 soon. Here I can get a new one in music store for $1000. According to Warwick price list such model costs about 1600 (or more) in US. Anyone can explain me why? Probably the quality of instruments here in Ukraine and in states little bit(!) different (???).

if so, it's probably that warwick basses don't sell very well in Ukraine so they lower the prices to make them more desirable.

Might have to do with the cost of international shipping and customs duties etc.

my local warwick pusher quoted me $2300 cdn as a retail price for mine but i got it for alot less.

The typical street price I've seen in the US is around $1400, but $1000 is definitely a great price. And you aren't getting lesser quality. The Corvette line has excellent cost to value...

Hi Machuuu,
All Warwick basses are from the same factory & of the same standard.Warwick do not sell inferior models to different countries.As for the prices being different,well,the worlds a big place & these basses are built in Germany.They then get shipped out to most parts of the world.Now some countries are close to Germany & some arent.It costs more to deliver basses further away.Also there is exchage rates,taxes,duties,etc etc etc.

Guys, thanks for your replies ! Finally ive got this bass - now I'm "warwick club member" )) !!! Corvette $$ 5 for $1000 - sound kills me (especially low B)
