i have a brand new corvette $$, which suddenly stopped making any sound at all today. i'm not familiar with any of the technical terms, but i opened it up and both the white and purple wires have become loose, and they are no longer attached to the bit inside the socket. (apologies for the crap terminology, i don't know how to explain this properly). i'm assuming this is what's causing the problem, why has this happened? if this had happened during a gig i would have been screwed. i'm not happy at all.
*edit* i don't know which wires to attach to which pins - the long pin has a black wire attached, is it the medium for white and small for purple?
