Corvette FNA preamp

I was replacing the battery in my Corvette FNA today and I noticed two little blue boxes with white tops that can be adjusted with a screwdriver. I've seen these on other electronics but I don't know what they do for the bass or if I should mess with them. Anyone have any idea as to what they may do?

The two trim pots adjust the "slap contour" of your Seymour Duncan preamp. I'm not 100% sure, but I think from memory the trim pot closest to the edge of the board adjusts the low boost and the other adjusts the mid cut.

I have noticed that my thumb bass has the same thing on it.. but, i think it only has one its a 2005 NT.any 1 have a idea what this knob is for on mine? its located right on top the little circuit board when you open the electronics compartment.

It's the volume control of the onboard preamp.

On my basses this volume is set just a bit more than the minimum so the pickups can be set very close to he strings.It's my "Gary Willis' ramp".
