The answer is: you don't. I prefer a rack tuner to a pedal tuner, but it's just a personal preference. But I wouldn't recommend putting a pedal tuner in your signal path - it's just one more thing that can go wrong...

Hi, sorry to highjack, but what do you all think of the bbe compressor, that also includes the sonic maximixer, the two channel one. Im thinking of getting one but can i get a better compressor for the money.

probally so it looks cool, dude get the fender RT 1000, cheap and works fine. plus you have cool blue lights everywhere.
 
There really sensitive, so you can really fine tune, and are really usefull for setting the inotation.

Not at all mate, it just seemed the thread had gone in that direction. As for pedals, as stated my 2 Digitech pedals (one for bass, one for guit) have tuners in them, they're about as stable as most of the patients I see. My little 14 buckazoid Korg is great though.
 
I guess the bottom line is you get what you pay for, most of the time. If you had 1200 bones for a bass, or more than 1 would you be better off getting one really good bass for the 1200, or 4 lesser basses for 300 a piece? Same with rackmounts.
