Hola,

I broke a string the other day, and i guess i lost a peice on my bass on the bridge that holds the string...

<a></a>

Is there a way i can buy just that peice, or any other way to fix that besides buying a new bridge...

Thanks!

sorry it looks really dusty... high powered camera XD

I know you can purchase this piece
directly from the Warwick store.

Or, if you're in the States like I am,
Dana Good should help you out no
problem... I say "should" because
apparently they've been hesitant
what with the whole... Aww, nevermind.

Just contact them.

here's that image. There are buttons on the reply form that help you format your response.

Also, it seems you've lost a saddle. Contacting Dana B. Goods is your best bet at this point. Their number is (805) 644-6621 Ext. 1 (for Warwick) - 709 (for Tyler). So dial the number, hit 1, wait for the menu, then 709. Hope that helps.

And what TylerDurdenPSSC was saying above, at the new year there is going to be a distribution change as Dana B. Goods will no longer be the American Distributor for Warwick. The new distributor has allegely been chosen (and claimed the change to a few people), but there has still not been an official release from Warwick or Dana B. Goods, so on the forum we're not supposed to discuss it.

oh, alright. not good with this sort of thing XD

I emailed MikeBrown, but i'll call them tomorrow.

thanks a lot

In the meantime,if you wanna play the bass.Put a small rolled up piece of foil or tape where the saddle sits. It's not a perfect fix but it'll get ya outta trouble.

While you're at it, clean your bridge too :D

...the saddle on the left looks pretty chewed up as well.

:(

...and tighten the other saddle grub screws so you don't lose another one!

I suppose we'll find out when they make an official statement! Maybe not... but I hope so. I've had nothing but AMAZING dealings with them in the past. I'm sad to see this one go.

i've got the same problem with one of the saddles on my fortress that falls out every time i change strings. I keep meaning to buy a new bridge (the one on my bass is original, 15 years old) but never got round to it.

Doesn't sound like you need a new bridge
at all!!! Sounds like you just need a new
retaining [set] screw to hold the saddle in
it's proper place.

I've just replaced the 5 string saddles on my bridge on the FNA. They're expensive little buggers actually - about $25 Australian each!

PM me if no luck with DBG, I can prob post you one of my old ones as a replacement
