Brass polish

Here we go again.

Someone (Lex???) posted a tips about a brass polish pad which doesn't leave green residue on the fretboard.

Please... what's the brand and where do I buy it?

For the frets?

I bought this:




This will get the real grit off the frets... then maybe finish up with some Brasso polish.

The planet waves kit comes with a fret-guide... it's basically a slot in a piece of cardboard that is the same size as the fret.

I would mask the board off though... you don't want Brasso clogging up the open grain of the Wenge

Any experiences on ebony? No need to mask there I guess.

The frets on my streamer are a bit sad looking but as I'm a lazy bastard I'm not going to polish them every month. How long does a polish-job last?

After all, tarnished brass frets doesn't have any impact on the sound. It's just that I want to look good... 8)
