birdseye poplar

Hi,
does anybody know something about the sound specs of birdseye poplar? I was just wondering what kind of body would suit better with a poplar 1" top, ash body or maple body? ...for a Streamer Stage I 6.

I've heard that poplar had warm lows, punchy low mids, and clear mid high, dunno about high end tho.
