If you go on the custom shop gallery there's a thumb bass custom made to replicate the limited edition dirty blond thumb but if you compare that bass to any of the dirty blonds that were made during their production run the shade of the stain looks to be much darker than all the "standard"...

The previous owner of my Infinity didn't seem to ever wax the bass. Because of this his thumb has left a dirty stain above the fron pickup in the beautiful maple top. Has anyone got any ideas for removing this?

Several years ago, I was stupid enough not to buy a custom shop Thumb with a solid birdseye body, from Rudy's Music on 48th St. in NYC. I have been looking for this bass -- Rudy's tells me they think it sold to someone in Australia. Anyway, I'd love to find out what happened to it. Any ideas...
