How do you like the sound? Also, has anyone tried the higher power rated combos of the new line yet? I love my BC 60.1 but I will need bigger to gig with (as soon as I find a band or start one myself). I'm looking to the new line as, to be honest, I like the sound of the BC 60.1 more than the Sweet 15 or the bigger combo in the old line. May have just been the shop and acoustics but everything flat, the lil 60 sounded cleaner than the bigger ones. I'm looking for a similar clean sound out of the new ones as well. Hopefully I'll get a chance to try them here mid year.![]()
I'm curious how well these do, too.
I had a Fender Rumble 100 - 100w 15" amp with tweeter. Even maxed out it couldn't keep up with a band practice in my friend's living room.
Just hoping the Warwick amps of lower or similar wattage don't suffer the same fate.
I ended up cancelling my order for the BC 80. Found a better deal on a used Take 12.1.
I'd reconsider if I were you.
I've played and owned a few Take 12.1 combos, and whilst I haven't played a new BC yet, I believe from the reports coming out that the BC80 will be MUCH better.
