Anyone know when the BC series combo amps are supposed to hit the US stores? Interested in the BC 80.

Hi Jeff, why don't you contact US Music Corp, for that? They are the only ones that knows exactly when they will receive the imports :-)

I´ve been told that those combos are about to hit stores here in Spain... can´t wait. 8:

I see that Thomman gets the BC combos on the 15th so I'll keep my eyes open. Worst case I'll order one from them.

Not sure why Thomman's site said the 15th. Checked later today it said in stock so.....BC 80 on the way. :)

Didn´t know Thomann ships to the USA. Let us know how you like it when arrives.

Indeed they do. I order parts from them sometimes.. when I feel like having my anus roughed up a bit with the shipping costs. Nevermind I can ship something to Europe for $17.00 but they charge almost $35.00 for an order that doesn't even total 1lb.. but whatever. I get the parts in the end. :)

Indeed.

Money talks and if nobody is picking up the Warwick line here in the US then I'll go elsewhere. Maybe it's just me but it seems like Warwick has a US distributor that isn't distributing anything in the US.

I hope I didn't make an uh oh purchase. Forget to check to see if I'm getting the correct voltage amp for use in the US. My impatience may have bit me in the rear.

I don't know anything about US Music, but I do hear loads of people on forums saying the US distribution seems to be lacking. I hope they pick up the ball...

Jeff - I can't wait to hear about the BC80 when you receive it. Please post a report for us.

;)

hey JSmith,i guess the new US Distributor is been bought by Jam Industries in the Montreal area . I ll get back to you on this later on

I just came from rehearsals and I had my BC 150 with me. What a killer sound ! Nice aggressive and clean clean clean sound, no boom at all. The tone gets even better in the mix than what it is in bedroom

Good to hear Kisu!

It'll be awhile longer before I get one. Didn't even dawn on my dumb ass until after I placed the order that the mains power won't work here in the States. I guess ordering everything online all the time got the best of me. Sent an e-mail out to Thomann to cancel the order. Going to try calling the New York custom shop this week for one.

FYI...I spoke to US Music (US distributor) today...they just received a bunch of BC80, BC150, BC300's. Some are already (dealer) spoken for...just need to go through your trusty dealer and get one drop shipped to your door, or shipped to your dealer (if they didn't alreaady have some on order) :-)

So who is a US dealer? I don't have the option of running to a music store to try out gear. I live at least 3 hours from any city large enough to have a Guitar Center. Glad they're getting them in stock though. Hopefully they will be cropping up soon.

I've been using Pulse Music (pulseonline.com) in Indiana, for the past 5 years. I usually deal with Randy or Eric, both great guys! I just work out a deal for Wick gear over the phone, then have them drop ship direct from US Music to my door...worry-free :-)

Oh, I forgot to add that I've also purchased from Cream City Music (creamcitymusic.com) recently, with good results. They are also a Wick dealer. Both Pulse Music (IN) and Cream City Music (WI) are brick and mortar businesses (not just Internet businesses)...and not too far away from MI. BTW, their web pages are not always kept up to date...just call.

FYI--I'm NOT getting any commission for recommending both of them...just trying to help out a fellow forumer looking for Wick stuff in the US :-)
