Fellas I got hit with a frozen shoulder. My right arm can hardly move and I'm looking at a couple of months of treatment by a fysiotherapist (no that's not some alien type of rapist Emzyo).

It has already improved over the last two weeks but only by a small margin.

Plz understand Marco is of course pissed off good with this f****d up situation. I can only play my wick for a couple of minutes a day before it starts hurting too bad. Some ppl might get depressed by this but me I am just angry all the time. Maybe now is a good time to start writing lyrics.

My point with this post: If you catch me being grumpy... now you know the reason.
Plz do yell at me if I whine too much in the chatbox. ;) I'm trying to stay positive.

Alien type of rapist X--D
hope you get better with shoulder

Damn, I'm sorry to hear that, bro. I hope your shoulder heals quick, man.

My mom just went through the frozen shoulder bs. Stick with the therapy, do exactly what they tell you to do at home (I'm assuming they gave you a rope and pulley setup for your home exercises) and try to eat lots of anti-inflammitory foods, and avoid foods that cause inflammation (dairy, etc). Hopefully it heals up soon.

I am sorry to hear that man, I know how you feel. Take care of yourself!

I have an impingement in my shoulder at the moment, and my warwicks are too heavy for me. I had to go back to playing my Stingray bass that I haven't touched in five years, and quite frankly, I feel like I am cheating on my warwicks lol

Get well soon man and look after yourself. i did my back before christmas and it took me a couple months to be able to play again, its really frustrating and i know what its like.

Get well soon. Thought it was bad having to stand on 1 leg to play as I've done my knee in but not being able to play at all is not good news.

The biggest mistake people make regarding physical therapy is when they feel better they just stop. Keep at it and you will be fine!

I thought that this was a thread about drummers:-)

get well soon!

Marco, get well soon man, Frozen shoulders are real bad, fortunately its spring so i hope your shoulder wil melt soon anough ;)

"The cause of a frozen shoulder is not well understood, but it often occurs for no known reason"
This is the kind of thing that gives mew the creeps!
I'm facing some back problems. Went to make some scans. The Dr looks at the scans and says "you have a perfect column, as if you were born yesterday. your vertebrae are all perfect, nothing wrong with it"
So, why does it hurt?
Well, phisyotherapy, and hope it gets better..
Best for you, man!

hunt down some good Physiotherapists if you can,1998 i broke a colar bone, dislocated my shoulder and had 2 small fractures in my neck after a car crash, had huge problems for a long time after, when i thought all was good i started playing again and at that stage i bought my wick.not long after had a lot of pain and overlooked the weight of the thumb as a reason.long story short my doctor got me a fantastic physio and after a few questions and answers got to the root of the issue,i now use a much wider strap and better posture, she got me to bring the bass to one of the early physio sessions and had me stand as i usually would, some corrections and a lot of work i could play again, its not perfect still to this day but if not for her i would have quit bass i think...
