Hey kids,
Hit up the relatively new store Bass People today in my hometown, Sydney.
I know Greg has already ranted and raved about it, but I just wanted to second his motion.
I was served by a wonderful, knowledgeble, rugged-good-looking man by the name of Matt. I told him that I was interested in Wicks, and he pointed me in the direction of the Warwick stand, sat me in front of a monstrous Thunderfunk rig and gave me permission to shred.
Obviously I failed at the beauty-contest aspect of playing in a music sotre, but I just need to reiterate that if you're in Sydney, or anywhere in NSW for that matter, Bass People should be your ONLY port of call for buying basses and gear!
They had a $10000 Alembic and I just wanted to invite it home for coffee!
Everything in the store was fantastic!!

It's such a cool shop eh.They dont mind if you make yourself at home on the lounge & watch some dvd's on thier tv.It's hard to believe the previous shop lasted 22 years with bugger all to offer.
Matt's also bloody good at doing any sort of repair or mod.One of the best.
Did Matt rave about the Corvette he never should've sold?

I was so impressed as to how well everything was set up, overwhelmed to say the least!

i saw the old shop, when i was searching for amps, but they only has lame 2nd hand ones. i will have to check out the new one soon.

would it be a good idea to get my warwick set up nicely there?
ive been wating to do that properly for a while now.

He seemed extremely cluey, and I'm guessing he's the "man" when it comes to their set-ups

Thanks for the kind words - it means a lot to us.

If you are looking for a reason to pop back in (or make your first visit) we just received 4 and 5 string versions of the Streamer LTD 2008. Very nice!
