There are only 3 members in my band me the guitar and drums i need to get a volume boost for when my guitarist is doing solos and for when i do solos. I was thinking something true bypass as well... I have an El Grande but its overdrive and i like my tone too much to be distorting it... I was thinking the tone bone bassbone but idk... Anyone have any ideas on pedals ?? Thanks..

Tommy, I don't think you need one. Only technique can give you a LOT of boost if you need it. IMHO you should focus more on solid playing, and a good bass sound.

I agree with Florin but.......I recently got a EH Black Finger it could be used for what your asking about. As well as IMO its a great compressor. I use it for a little control and bit of grind/bite. It can really color your tone, but it doesnt have to. Its not a one trick pony at all!!! Look it up I got mine for $180 i think it was.

Seymour Duncan pickup booster pedal.

It will give you a clean volume boost - you can adjust it from 6db to 25 db boost.

Perfect to get a little more volume in your solo if that's what you want.
