Upon realising that Bartolini makes 6-string P pickups, I imagined this one: Straight up Ash Corvette, passive PP pickups, passive electronics...

I'd get that very same bass just as a Corvette NT with Flamed Maple AAA neck and Walnut body with a Swamp Ash top + Satin Clear finish and matching headstock + fretless.

I'd go with a flamed Ash top and head, and stick with a bolt-on... Although in simple ash it would be a sweet piece as well...

I use photoshop for my mock ups, and the amazing images from the custom shop gallery! It's basically a mix-and-match process of taking bits and pieces from various basses and creating interesting concepts....
