BTW, another impact by Yoko on the history of 20th century music would certanly be as an inspiration to Wacko Jacko. No one seems willing to mention it, so [natcherly] I will:
Michael Jackson's continuing 'self image' project is clearly designed to turn him into a Yoko Ono impersonator. Realizing that there are already waaaay too many Elvisses out there, Jacko wisely chose an uncrowded niche to pursue.
A few years ago, on seeing the cover photo on one of the NYC tabloids, I asked somebody what was Yoko up to that put her on the front page. Reply was sumptn like "Wazmaddawidchew ?!? donnknow Jacko whenyah seenhim ??"
In the REAL world [aka the front pages at the supermarket checkout], Jacko is indistinguidgeable from Yoko. I'm sure this is more confusiung in Spanish than in English, but you know whaddumn sane.
