Imagine how it would be to play bass without arms.... :roll:

A bass colleague from the Swedish bassforum does it.

One more interesting thing, which has nothing to do with his handicap is the fretboard on that bass. Look at the frets!

wow, he is incredible.

it´s great to see people deal with their handicap like that guy!
 
Adam is cool!

The fretboard is made by "https://www.truetemperament.com/" ... something similar to the "just intonation" fretboards....
 
I find people like this inspirational.
We have a charity here that I donate to called,the mouth & foot painters.It sells christmas & birthday cards illustrated with paintings by disabled people who either hold the paint brush in their mouths or feet.

Where there is a will, there is a way. In other words quit yer bitchin and git er done.
I think this applies to everything.

Nike had a cool ad where there is a close up of a dudes face and he is just rattling off excuses to not work out. "I don't have time, it's hard etc." The last one was "my feet hurt". At this point, the camera pulls back and he is in a wheelchair.
 
I watched this vid yesterday morning and thought about it all day.
It really put my own issues in perspective.

Adam, welcome and congrats on your amazing success. I can't speak for the others, but I think if I had to face challenges like that I would just curl up into a ball and give up.

Each time one comes to me and says "Oh, I have my fingers too short, or too weak, or it hurts" I show your video to him...
